4.10 Save sound

You can save the sound either with the original file frequency (if resample is not activated) or with the hardware frequency (if resample is activated). The following file formats are supported:

  - AVR, Audio Visual Research (Atari).

  - WAV, Microsoft RIFF-WAVE (PC).

  - AIF, Apple Interchange File Format (Mac).

  - MP2, MPEG Audio layer 2 with the shared library AVCODEC.SLB, where
    you can do this list of choices:

    • Set the bitrate in Kbits/s (default 128 Kbits/s).

  - AC3, AC3 Dolby Digital with the shared library AVCODEC.SLB, where
    you can do this list of choices:

    • Set the bitrate in Kbits/s (default 128 Kbits/s).

  - OGG, Ogg Vorbis with the shared library VORB_ENC.SLB, where you can
    do this list of choices:

    • Specify quality setting for the VBR files if the average bitrate is
      desactived. 0 is used for high quality but bigger files. 9 for
      smaller files (default 4).
While saving, a red button is displayed at the bottom of the main window.
