The option 'Minimal window' removes some window gadgets from the window to load movies with a larger display. For sound files this option removes the main window.
The option 'Without GEM' is the last resort for increasing display speed: only the keyboard is tested directly (goodbye multitasking !). In this mode, you can load a movie with an image size of 320 * 240 in a screen resolution of 320 * 240. On a Falcon with a TV monitor or VGA display, the display changes to W * H True Color if the size of the image does not exceed W * H (see below for valid values of W * H). The original resolution is restored if an error occurs or the movie is stopped.
